Canto da Lú

Lu really is kind and helpful. She treated us like old friends, and we felt at home. My friends, our kids, and I loved our stay. The accommodation was private and very clean during the three days we were there. The beach seemed safe and peaceful, and felt very family-friendly.

Dona Lu's inn was modern, cozy, spotless, and well ventilated, with two air-conditioning systems. Dona Lu herself is one of a kind, very honest and attentive, a woman of faith. I wholeheartedly recommend the place, and we'll certainly return. May God keep blessing you and your family, Dona Lu. I was lucky to stay by this beach, which I think is one of the best on the southern coast. It's calm, has no strong waves, and is good for swimming. It was clean and well policed too. Awful. I booked five days before the trip and called the day before to ask whether we needed to bring towels, but nobody answered. I sent a WhatsApp message that was received and never answered. Then at 3 a.m. on the day I was traveling, the place messaged to say they couldn't host us because it was full. They could have told me earlier. I lost the weekend and couldn't find anywhere else. I found a complaint on another booking site describing the same thing, where the guest only found out they couldn't stay after arriving. A complete lack of respect.

In January 2019, my husband and I went to Guaiúba for our honeymoon. Lu treated us so wonderfully that we were surprised. She's incredibly gentle, the most caring person I've met, like a mom. The place was amazing, spotless, and organized. I miss Lu and the beach, and we hope to come back soon, this time with our beautiful little princess, who is now three months old!
