The room was really noisy, with street music going until 4 am. The neighborhood was very dirty, too.

I want to thank Tidinho for helping with the shipment. I left some things from my baggage at the hostel, and he managed to send them to me in another country. It's in a really good spot near the port and city center, and I'd say it's definitely the best hostel in Manaus. Highly recommend it!

The murals were nice and the staff were okay, but the breakfast was really basic. I ended up sleeping with the volunteers even though other female rooms were available. There wasn't much atmosphere, and the location wasn't the best.

The garden is really nice, and the whole place was comfortable and clean. There was AC in the room, hot water in the showers, laundry for 30R, and a modest breakfast for an extra fee. But the WiFi was really poor. It didn't work in the room and barely worked in the garden, only by the front desk. After two days I left for a big central hotel with a private room, pool, gym, and breakfast included, for only 10R more. At those prices, I don't see the point of booking a hostel in Manaus. This had been the best priced accommodation on most online booking platforms, and I originally booked and prepaid. The staff, who I think were foreign volunteers, spoke Spanish and Portuguese but not English. They were all really friendly. At their other hostel, though, there was a French volunteer who also spoke English. The place looks really nice, but after four days on an Amazon boat, I had a hassle at check-in. The owner called and said I hadn't paid and that they didn't accept prepayment through booking platforms. I had paid, of course, and they'd made a mistake. Even in a good mood, it was a pretty poor welcome.

I saw a few places in Manaus, and this was the best in every way. The atmosphere was lovely, and it was a really nice hostel with breakfast included!
