Pousada Jequitibá

The pousada is cozy, well cared for, and generally delivered what it promised. Still, because the owners live on site, there were times when we felt a bit short on privacy, almost as if we were intruding in their space. That could be uncomfortable if you're looking for a quiet rest. We also heard people talking loudly early in the morning, around 7 a.m., every day we stayed, and it got in the way of sleeping. We think the experience could be better with some changes to quiet hours and how the spaces are separated. Overall, it's a good pousada, but keep this in mind if silence and privacy matter to you.

We got back yesterday and everything was excellent. The room was really clean, the air conditioning and shower worked well, and breakfast was delicious and fresh. The women at reception, in the kitchen, and on the cleaning team were all so kind and attentive. A 10 for the pousada and everyone working there 🥰

It's a pretty place close to Quadrado, but we slept badly. The beds aren't good and sit right under the windows, so light comes in. If you open a window for air, the air conditioners from the other rooms are really loud. There was also very noisy construction next door, starting at 9 a.m. and going until late afternoon. The owner didn't warn guests about it when we booked. I don't recommend it.

The location is excellent, and the rates are very good compared with nearby places. Our room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and breakfast was good quality with a variety of cakes and juices.
