The pool was the best part for me, such a lovely place to relax. The lobby and bar feel modern, with comfortable seats, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Everything seemed brand new, and my room was spotless and in excellent shape. It’s also well placed for the airport.

The reception woman Evanie was so patient, helpful, and understanding. There was a rooftop party above my room, and she moved me to another one. She also gave me great help arranging an airport taxi. The hotel itself was nice, with a good breakfast and a huge pool.

The pool was open, but for the three days we were there it had just one bartender, and the drinks weren’t made properly. There was construction next door, with views of the river and an infinity pool, but this definitely didn’t feel like luxury and lacked Belizean culture and vibe 🇧🇿. The place has potential, though management and staff need more training in food service. We came for a birthday brunch reservation at 9am. By 9:15, my family had joined the buffet line, but there was little or no food in the chafers. We had 30 people, and maybe eight of us got half a plate of breakfast. Most of the kitchen staff were nice and kept saying more food was coming for about 45 minutes, then finally said the buffet ended at 10am. The chef and kitchen weren’t prepared for a crowd. The day before, the buffet wasn’t open to guests because I was told there was a private event 😱. The manager eventually came and told us we’d get a 50% discount, but I still need to check the charges. We stayed from last week Thursday, January 15, to Monday the 19th, 2026. The entrance looks modern and promising, and reception was very courteous at check-in. Our room was clean, but on the first day, after we went out, the bed had been made and no fresh towels or toilet tissue were left. We had to borrow some early in the morning from a family member on the same floor. The rooms and food cost too much for what you get, including both the buffet and à la carte menu. I’ll skip this hotel next trip and wait for more favorable reviews. I couldn’t add the full video reviews, but this was my least favorite experience, and I travel to Belize at least twice a year.

The river view from the pool was gorgeous, and the staff were warm, thoughtful, and very hospitable. I spent two weeks here on a work visit. The place was comfortable and clean, and the food had a great range of excellent options. Shower pressure and temperature were low, though they’re doing construction, so that may be connected to the work.

The casino attached to the hotel was my favorite part, and the staff were friendly. My girlfriend and I stayed here when the hotel was fairly new, with some construction underway that looked like an expansion. If you want a luxury feel, this is the place. It was an amazing last stop before we returned to the US. Breakfast was free, and the airport is only about 10 or so minutes away. I’m definitely going back.
