Shore Lane Cottage

We stayed in the Lobster Den, a spacious, comfortable room with a table, chairs, sofa, mini fridge, and microwave. There was also a staff kitchen down the hall if we needed it, and the beach was just steps away. Parking was great, and the owners were excellent communicators. Definitely recommend.

We'd definitely come back. My husband and I stayed in the captains quarters, a roomy, clean, adorable cottage with a comfortable bed and updated rooms that felt homey. The area was great too, with everything within walking distance or a short drive.

Getting the keys from the table inside made check-in and checkout really easy. I stayed in the "Captain's Quarters" room, which was very nice, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. There was occasionally a bit of a musty smell. I'm not sure whether anything could be done about it, but I'd stay here again if I return to Alma.

We were welcomed by a staff member who gave us a quick introduction to town. He was friendly and even offered to cook us some lobster if all the restaurants were closed. The service was hard to beat. The Captains Quarters was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and dishes. The linens were fresh and extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. An electric fireplace added ambiance on warm evenings and heat on cold ones. The inn is a wonderful place to stay at the southern end of Fundy National Park, with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
