It's not a fancy hotel, but the price and location are very good. Ski shuttles, restaurants, and hiking trails are all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when I needed to leave my luggage after checkout, they were more than happy to store it. Excellent value.

It's easy to reach downtown without driving, and parking in downtown Banff isn't easy anyway. You can use the gym and swimming pool in the next-door building, " The Banff Park Lodge Resort and Hotel ", and get a special-price breakfast there too. We had a nice view from the room and could watch a beautiful sunset. We stayed for three nights and found the hotel pleasant, with good service and a reasonable price. The Bow River Trail is lovely for a walk, and The Banff Canoe Club is right across the road if you want to rent a canoe and enjoy the Bow River.

The location is excellent, just off the main street and right by the beautiful Bow river. When my room wasn't ready at arrival, staff kept my luggage at the desk so I could go explore. I also had a designated spot to store my rental bicycle for a few hours. I visited in May 2025. The room looked a little dated, but it was clean and spacious, with a nice little balcony, a good-sized TV, and tea and coffee facilities. Great value.

The advertised amenities were misleading. There's a microwave on each floor, not in every room, and no hot water kettle either. The carpets are worn and stained, and the stair treads are...

For an affordable Banff hotel, this is nice. The furniture and style are a bit outdated, sure, but it's extremely clean, everything works, and the service is great. I recommend it 100%.
