Best Western Plus Banff International Lodge

Inside, the hotel is renovated and cozy, even though the exterior looks dated. We found a good deal here and liked it better than neighboring Irwins/Red Carpet, where we usually stay. There's free breakfast, underground parking, a large Android-based TV, and a good coffee machine in the lobby. The small pool and hot tub have a partial mountain view. The lobby fireplace looked great but unfortunately wasn't working. I also wish they hadn't taken down all the Christmas decor on the 6th, since it's still Orthodox Christmas. I'd highly recommend the hotel for a Banff stay.

Their underground parking was especially handy in the cold winter months, and breakfast was included in our room price. The buffet had pancakes, toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, coffee, and juice. Great value, and we'd stay again. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we were lucky to have a lovely mountain view. The location right on Banff Ave is perfect, with everything you need a short walk away. Staff were kind and clearly keep things running smoothly, which made our trip special.

The breakfast needs more variety because it's the same every day, with breakfast potatoes and either sausages or bacon. The hotel is affordable and right in the heart of Banff Ave, so restaurants and shops are easy to reach. Our room was clean and well cared for, with a perfect mountain view. All the employees are Filipino, kind and accommodating, and they always greeted guests with a smile.

It's hard to find a quality hotel in Banff that won't break the bank, and this one had everything we wanted for a fraction of what other nearby hotels cost. The rooms were updated and clean, the location was great, and the staff were super friendly. There was a nice pool area, a good complimentary breakfast, and free underground parking. Great value! We'll definitely be back.
