Moxy Banff

After skiing, the hotel’s games and hangout spots made downtime just as fun as being on the slopes. There’s checkers, a hockey table, mini shuffleboard, video games, a Mac computer station, and plenty of places to relax. The place is new and very clean, with an energetic feel that works for adults and kids. We stayed with our son and had a wonderful time skiing nearby. Our room was comfortable, efficient and thoughtfully set up for a small family. There were three of us with plenty of space, and the bunk arrangement could easily have accommodated four. The amenities were great too: a well-equipped gym, laundry facilities, and a media room you can rent for small groups. There’s a food truck with solid eats and a market area stocked with just about any sundries you might need. The bar had fair prices, a great atmosphere and cool, attentive staff, making it a fun place to unwind. The hotel manages to feel modern, clean and lively while staying family-friendly without being overly kid-focused. We’d absolutely stay again on our next ski trip, especially with the hot tub and pool for après. We’d stayed at a Moxy in Dublin before and weren’t impressed, but this Moxy was different in the best way.

We had an amazing two nights at Moxy Banff. Karl was especially helpful. For our son’s fifth birthday, he upgraded our room and laid out five blow up vows, five candy bars and five balloons. Our son had a great time. The service and staff were amazing, and the room was clean and welcoming. Thank you!

The hotel is in a perfect spot for skiing, steps from the shuttle to Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mt. Norquay. You walk out the door and you’re on your way to world-class skiing. The convenience alone makes Moxy Banff worth it. Cami made my Banff ski trip unforgettable. She sat down with me, explained each of the Big 3 resorts, and recommended mountains based on the conditions and my skill level. She knows the Banff scene inside out and made sure I had what I needed to get the most from my time there. I can’t thank her enough. The staff were phenomenal, and the rooms were modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. My stay exceeded expectations, and I’m already planning to return.

The room setup was such a sweet surprise, with balloons, swan décor on the bed, a vinyl record, and welcome drinks. The front desk team helped me plan a birthday surprise for my husband, patiently handling my requests and arranging the flower and cake deliveries. Everything was done so thoughtfully, and we felt really looked after. We had an amazing stay at Moxy Banff and will be back for a longer visit :)
