The location was convenient and the staff were nice enough, but the breakfast was lousy. The scrambled eggs were dry, unseasoned, and clearly left from the previous day. The bigger problem was a staff member nearly walking into my room while I was changing. He gave a very quiet knock and didn't wait long enough for me to answer. That's unacceptable. It would help to have do not disturb signs for the door.

I spent a 14-day hitch at the Travelodge in Blairmore, and it really did feel like a home away from home. The suite was sparkling clean, the renovations felt modern, and the bed was so comfortable I could have hibernated in it. Housekeeping was top-notch. I only wish there were a laundry room. The TV didn't work for what I needed, so it was basically decoration. The only restaurant in town is the East Indian place downstairs, and its range of dishes was delicious, more like home cooking than the fast food options around. I probably gained a few pounds. The location is convenient, parking is easy, and the staff, especially the friendly crew from India, were cheerful and kept things clean. I'd recommend staying here, just be ready to sort out laundry yourself and enjoy some East Indian food.

We stayed one night and were impressed by the renovations. The rooms felt modern, with new toilets and tubs, and the breakfast room had a nice selection of food. Every staff member we met was polite and helpful. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

We were happy with everything at the Travelodge in Blairmore, Alberta. The hotel was very clean, and our room had a lovely deep, new bathtub. The staff were friendly and keen to help. We hadn't planned to eat dinner there, but tried the restaurant connected to the hotel and really enjoyed it. We both ordered Indian food, though we heard other guests saying the other dishes were good too.
