Le Pirate Motel & Camping

The location by the ocean is great, and despite being near the highway, the cars aren't that loud. It’s about a 10-minute drive to St Anne des Monts for groceries and other things you need, and 40 minutes to Gaspésie national park. We found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well equipped for the price. Our beds were made and garbage taken out every other day, which kept the place tidy. We only met Hévre, who was kind and accommodating. When we mentioned a minor clogged bathroom drain, it was fixed the next day. One stove burner was broken, but we didn't mind much since we appreciated having a kitchenette and being able to cook at all. If you plan to cook, bring a few things like a cutting board or grater, since the kitchenette has only the basics. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks, Hévre, and we hope to come back!

We booked a campsite for one night at the last minute while passing through. The tent lots are on the small side, with just enough room for a big tent and space to move around. It was very quiet with so few other tenters. The bathrooms were great and close by, and the shower was free and clean. The reception area is cute. I’d definitely come again if I’m passing through!

During our 9-day vacation, this was the best stay! The room was stylish, spacious, super tidy, and nicely renovated and decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the big bathroom was bright with good facilities. The breakfast wasn't filling enough, just one small muffin, a banana, and yogurt per person. The wifi was slow and kept disconnecting. Still, the splendid stay overall made up for those little drawbacks.

The pirate theme is done really well, and the room decor is super cute. It was clean, with a mini kitchen that was a nice extra: a sink, two electric burners, and a microwave. Check-in was quick and easy. There was a bit of a language barrier since they didn't speak much English, but the process was simple regardless.
