This was my first visit to Wells Gray, but I’m hoping it won’t be my last. I spent a special weekend at Wells Gray Guest Ranch with 11 other Hikerbabes—Vancouver Chapter, and we had so much fun dressing up on Saturday to match the names of the rustic cabins. We put on a bit of entertainment for the RV guests and laughed a lot. Arne & Tunde made us feel welcome straight away. I also really enjoyed chatting with Hannah & Zoey. Hannah showed me around the barn and stable, where I snuggled a baby goat and laughed at the donkeys. Zoey showed us a baby chicken and the “chatty” rooster. The cabins have no heat or electricity, as described, but they were cozy, clean, and comfortable. I brought my own sleeping bag, pillow, and fleece blanket, and sleeping bags, liners, and pillows were also provided. We got to enjoy campfires both evenings, following the rules about fire size. One evening the cook joined us with his sweet granddaughter, Aurora, who roasted marshmallows. It’s a beautiful property close to lots of trails and waterfalls. I’ve already recommended it to many people and definitely want to come back.

We were a family of four camping at the family-run ranch, with the grandparents in a cabin. The ranch atmosphere was great, and it made a good base for exploring Wells Gray. Not having to cook was fantastic. We all loved the vibe and would strongly recommend it.

We stayed at Wells Gray Guest Ranch for 2 days in June 2026, traveling in our RV. On the first day we went horseback riding on the trails, then drove around Wells Gray in the RV the next day to see the waterfalls. The people were welcoming and pleasant, and there were cute animals everywhere.

We loved the quiet and seeing all the animals during our stay at Wells Gray Guest Ranch. The host and all the personnel were really friendly, and the food was very good too.

The nature and scenery at Wells Gray Ranch were indescribable, and we loved the cute animals. Our cabin was incredibly cozy, and the owners and workers were kind. We had an amazing time, though we were sad to leave after only 2 nights. We’d love to come back!
