The quiet at night and the privacy made it easy to get a good rest, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. We stayed May 16th to 18th in a cottage at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community. There were four of us, and the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed for the ingredients we brought. The bar counter fit everyone comfortably, and having a dishwasher and dish soap made cleanup simple. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, and Costco was only about a three-minute drive away. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The fries were cooked just right, and the cheesecake was well made, though dense, and the fruit with it was quite sour. I ate at the restaurant on May 29th. Service was quick, the staff were professional, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The burger didn't feel worth the price: some lettuce was turning brown, and the bacon was undercooked and rubbery. It seemed like a preformed patty, though I'm not sure. Just a suggestion, skip the fresh fruit when it's not good.

We had a great stay and will definitely return. The course was really well maintained and a pleasure to play for 18 holes, and every department had friendly staff. Our queen jacuzzi room was spacious and comfortable, with a patio overlooking the green that was lovely for morning coffee.

Villa #206, Balmoral was the best place we've stayed, and we travel a LOT. It was 872 square feet, with a huge room, king bed, full kitchen, separate dining area, and a big balcony with comfortable furnishings. There were two fireplaces, two TVs, a jetted tub, and a heated bathroom floor. WOW WOW WOW.

The course is beautifully kept, challenging, and framed by mountain views and lovely natural surroundings. Every round feels special. Crown Isle is one of the Comox Valley's gems, but the people and service are what really stayed with me. I've stayed in the rooms, eaten at the restaurants, and worked there as a filmmaker. Everyone I've dealt with has been welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, whatever I needed. It's rare to get such a beautiful setting along with consistently great service. I'd highly recommend staying at Crown Isle and playing a round while you're there.
