We rarely leave reviews, but the Holiday Inn Express in Comox earned one. We've travelled widely and stayed at many hotels, including some of North America's best, and this is among the best we've experienced. The hotel is spotless, and the staff are impeccable, friendly when greeting us and attentive throughout our stays. On arrival, the front desk clerk noticed a wine bottle in our carry-on. A few minutes after we got settled, he quietly knocked and brought two wine glasses with a smile. There have been other thoughtful moments too. The owners of this Comox property deserve congratulations. Your brand is in safe hands here, and if there's an internal recognition program, we'd certainly nominate them. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The pool was a hit with the kids, and Express Start breakfast gave us a good start to the day. The whole team was kind and helpful, and we really appreciated the hospitality. This new hotel feels modern, and our room and the common areas were impeccably clean, 10/10. Its location made it easy to get around Courtenay and head up to Mt. Washington. We're already looking forward to coming back for more weekends and ski seasons.

The location is great, with several bars and casinos nearby and a ski slope not far away. The hotel is magnificent, and the staff are polite. The rooms are clean, and they'll clean them whenever you ask. Laundry is available 24 hours a day. Five stars from me, I'd recommend it.

We'd definitely stay here again. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and clean, and breakfast had lots of choices, including gluten-free bagels, which was nice. The pool was a little small and square, so swimming was difficult with a few families using it too.

I was here for work for almost three weeks, and the service was good. My room was always cleaned on time before I got back from work. The staff were fantastic, supportive, and quick to follow up. They also worked on my request to move to a room with a mountain view or Mount Washington view, and I've attached a picture. Highly recommend this place. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Courtenay.
