The front desk lady was nice, but that didn’t make up for a really unpleasant stay. The room smelled musty and looked old and dingy, with peeling paint and old, discoloured ceiling tiles. The shower looked old, and its floor was dirty and cracked. The carpet was so nasty we kept our shoes on. The fridge wasn’t clean, there were stains on the bed and pillowcases, and the old bed felt like sleeping on springs. At $170 a night, I’d never stay again. I wish I’d asked for my money back. A little effort updating the rooms one at a time could make this place nice. The lobby has a strong curry smell, so be prepared. I love curry, so that part wasn’t a problem for me. I’m permanently crossing this place off my list.

After checking in, I was offered the chance to pick cherries from their orchard out back. There’s also a coffee shop across the street. It was clean and comfortable, with great hosts, and a great value for the price. I was travelling by motorcycle and found this a quiet place to rest my head, while a few of the motor hotels were packed with noisy motorcycles and tourists.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was on the hard side, but perfect for me. The lady was so kind and helpful, and the service was wonderful.

The rooms were tidy and very clean, with a homey feel and comfortable beds. The woman at the front counter was extremely kind and accommodating, and the service was excellent and friendly. It was a little farther from downtown than we would’ve liked, but I’d highly recommend it.
