Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dorval

Therese opened breakfast at 6 a.m. on Saturday, even though it usually starts at 7. I get up early and had a long travel day ahead, so I really appreciated that. She wished me safe travels and hoped I'd return. I definitely will. My suite was larger than a standard room, with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and hot plate. Pots and frying pans were available by request at the front desk. There was also a dining table, a clean bathroom with a shower, a living area with a pull-out sofa, and a bedroom with a TV and comfortable king-size bed. I enjoyed using the gym and pool in the morning. The room had a welcome note addressed to me by name. It said the hotel was glad to have me and called me its most important Diamond amphibian guest, then invited me to ask if I needed anything to make my stay better. The property was clean and had a pleasant, not-too-strong scent that I think was spiced apple. I was staying at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Montreal Dorval, about 13 minutes from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport. While parking in the underground garage, I discovered a professional self-service car wash, a first for me. The little details, like the chamois wringer, caught my eye as a car enthusiast, Frog.🐸 🚗✨🧽

My flight wasn't until 8 p.m., and the hotel let me check out at 5 p.m. for free after I asked and offered to pay. That was a big help. The staff were friendly and the service was impressive. The room was spacious and clean, and the location near the industrial area worked well for my work trip. Laundry is available on the ground floor. They also have free breakfast and coffee in the lobby around the clock. I had a great stay at Home2Stay and would recommend it and come back.

The virtual chat team kept in touch to make sure we were comfortable, and I could get updates and information right away. I'll definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Our studio had a kitchen with all the needed amenities in the cabinets, which was a big help. The rooms were clean and organized. Even the TV had English options, unlike the French-only choices available at most other hotels in Quebec. I stayed at home2suites during a recent visit to Montreal. Check-in through check-out, the service was excellent. The digital key and online check-in made things smooth and convenient, and choosing a room and timing worked out perfectly.

The staff were wonderful from start to finish. Rene in the cafeteria and Linda at the front desk even helped me get my husband back into the car when we left. They really went above and beyond, and I was so impressed with both of them. After our seven-hour drive from Toronto, I was exhausted and still had to get my disabled husband settled in. Linda noticed and made registration quick and painless. Later, when I went back with questions, she listened and made me feel heard. She said it looked like I had a lot on my plate, and I started to well up. She offered me a hug, and I hadn't realized how much I needed one. I thanked her and asked for a few things for the room, including extra garbage bags. She was happy to help. It was my first stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton, but it won't be my last. Our accessible room was spotless, with a no-step shower and installed seat so my husband could sit while I showered him. It had an apartment-size fridge, a small kitchen sink, and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, though I think it was a double, and there was a sofa bed for one or two more people. There were outlets and lights on both sides of the bed. Being able to adjust the thermostat helped since my husband is always cold. Breakfast was cafeteria-style and included a range of options: cereal, toast and bagels, boiled eggs, cheese omelettes, bacon, and sausage. The food was pretty good, the coffee was really good, and there were various juices on tap. The room was a great find.
