Baymont by Wyndham Fort McMurray

The front desk service really made my stay at the Baymont in Fort McMurray. The women at reception were so friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome. My room was roomy, very clean and wonderfully quiet, so I got a great night's sleep. I'd recommend it for comfort and hospitality, and I'd happily stay again.

I'm a longtime Hilton guest, but there aren't any Hilton brands here, so I'll be back at this hotel on my next Fort McMurray trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from check-in through answering my questions about the hotel. My room was nice and clean, and the whole place smelled fresh and inviting. When I mentioned that a cover over the circuit breaker box had fallen after I bumped it, the front desk had it fixed before I could return to my room. The extra towels I requested were there just as quickly.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a decent view, and there was plenty of underground parking. Staff were kind, knowledgeable and gave excellent service. The only letdown was the breakfast, which is a weak pre-bagged offering. Apart from that, I had an excellent stay.

We especially liked how pleasant the staff were, particularly Annie at reception. The two bedroom layout gave everyone privacy, and the furnishings were comfortable. There were three TVs and a well-equipped kitchenette, and the rooms and common areas were very clean. We liked the bagged breakfast, secure intercom entry and underground parkade too. A few pieces of room equipment weren't working properly, but staff dealt with those problems promptly and appropriately.
