The City Motel

The service was amazing from start to finish. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly and helpful, chatted with us about our stay, offered to carry our luggage, and wished us a good night. At breakfast, the woman working was friendly and engaging too. I noticed her ask each guest how they'd slept and whether they'd stayed before. Great location and comfy beds. Nothing to complain about, 10/10 would recommend.

Customer service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The motel is conveniently close to stores and tourist attractions, and late checkout until 1pm is free if you ask. For a two-star hotel, it was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and the bonus of a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was continental and nothing special. The bathroom was clean but disappointing, as it looked and smelled old. All in all, I enjoyed the stay thanks to the location and service.

The room had good air conditioning, several lamps, and a TV with a decent number of channels. The bathroom was great too. There was no microwave in my room, but it did have a fridge, so that's fine. The place is lovely, and the staff are super nice.

The staff are so friendly, and the rooms are really quiet, with new beds and carpet. Breakfast is free and covers the basics. There's also a burger bar attached, with great burgers and delicious poutine. I booked the city motel on a whim for a work trip and liked it enough to keep rebooking for two and a half weeks. Especially for the price, you're not going to beat it.
