Pender Harbour Resort & Marina

The view was extraordinary, and waking up with coffee and hopping into the hot tub was such a treat. I came with family for my birthday and we stayed in one of the cabins with a hot tub. It was a little warm, so the female owner brought us some fans. The customer service was excellent, the beds were super comfy, and we were very happy.

We had a really good experience at the resort. Our booked one-bedroom cabin smelled smoky, so they moved us to the two-bedroom we’d asked for, without charging extra. They also let us use the tandem kayak at no cost to make up for the inconvenience. I’ve been telling friends about the place. Thanks, Jeff!!

Cabin 9 was just right, with a water view, plenty of room, comfortable beds, and everything clean and well cared for. We used the deck hot tub a lot, especially for evenings in the rain. We also rented a boat and went cruising and fishing. The Kingfisher with the 90hp was great. After 25 years away from Pender, coming back was exactly what I needed. I grew up in the harbour and got to bring my wife, kids and mother-in-law to what I think is the best place in BC. We couldn’t be happier with the stay at Pender Harbour Resort, from Jeff’s warm welcome at check-in through the hospitality from everyone. It was a better vacation than I could have asked for, and we’re already planning to return. I wish I could rate it higher. Thanks to Jeff and the staff for helping us make new memories.

The marina was clean and the showers were great, but I was disappointed that marina guests couldn’t use a hot tub. The website photos give the wrong impression, since those tubs are for private cottages. The pool is a long way from the waterfront, has few chairs for adults, and seems mostly intended for kids. We had to sit on the cement. I booked moorage months ahead, but it was a bit difficult to get our slips together. One of the boats couldn’t join us for the full three days, which made sharing meals and such difficult. The stay was kind of disappointing overall.
