We booked online and found the room small but reasonably priced. It was hot, so we turned on the air conditioner and left for a ball tournament. A few hours later, the room was still stifling. Staff seemed to know there was a problem but had put us in the room anyway. When I mentioned it, the first solution offered was to refund our money and leave us without a room. After I explained how displeased I was, they called another motel they owned and booked us there. I’ve put a review for that one elsewhere.

The place was dirty and infested with mice. The heated pool wasn’t heated, and there were lots of drug users and drunks. The parking surface was so broken that you trip over it. There’s black mold in the basement and on the first floor, which they just cover up instead of fixing. The sewer and water have major problems, and the account isn’t even blowing cold.

We just needed somewhere inexpensive to stay overnight with my children before catching the morning train, and this quiet, clean motel suited us perfectly. The man in the office was kind and helpful. We also got to use the outdoor pool, which was as clean and inviting as the picture.

The price was cheap, it was moderately quiet, there was no deposit, and the parking lot had plenty of room. But although we arrived close to 3 p.m., we still waited another 20 minutes for our room. The walls were dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and left us sore in the morning, and the shower temperature kept changing by itself. The AC didn’t work very well either, and the towels looked a bit rumpled, not fresh.

A warning for anyone with children: don’t come here. Our beds were dirty, with blood and hair on the sheets, and the shower hadn’t been cleaned. There weren’t any clean towels. A lot of people live there, and they partied all night, which made the stay uncomfortable with children.
