The owner is a really sweet, great guy. He woke me up by accident one morning with a call to check if the room was okay, then brought me yogurt and coffee to make up for it. My room looked and smelled clean, parking was free, and the soundproofing was decent. It’s a good place for the price, with downtown Kingston and the military base and museum an easy drive away. You can hear gunfire from the nearby base during the day, but never at night.

I’ve lived here for five years and love it. Doug has a lot on his plate, but he gets to what you need as soon as he can. Whether you’re visiting Kingston or need a long-term place, I highly recommend Fort Henry Motel. :)

I’ve really enjoyed staying at Fort Henry Motel. It’s affordable, clean and friendly, just outside downtown in the country, but only a five-minute drive away.

I had a great stay at Fort Henry Motel. The front desk guy was very nice and pretty funny. You can tell he takes pride in the work he does there.

Travelling alone, I found this spacious, clean room perfect for one, with everything I needed at a great price. The gentleman was very helpful. Don’t judge this book by its cover.
