This charming little boutique hotel felt like a special getaway, and I'd happily stay again. The décor is stylish and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. The record player in the room was especially fun and unique. Everything was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Getting around Kingston on foot was easy, with downtown, cafés, restaurants, shops and major attractions close by. My loft was spacious, modern and thoughtfully designed, and that open layout made it feel different from other hotels nearby. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend The Smith Hotel for a short or longer visit to the city.

I didn't know when I booked that this was a contactless B&B, and I missed having a person to talk to. The lockbox system worked fine, but I value the personal touch I've enjoyed at other B&Bs. The building itself is amazing, the suites are distinctive and nicely equipped, and the downtown location makes most attractions an easy walk. Our room's view was disappointing: it sat a little below ground level, with windows looking onto a gravel parking lot. We kept them closed the whole stay. That was okay for one rainy night, though I think we'd have felt differently in summer sunshine.

Spotless and looking brand new, with a super comfortable king bed and our own assigned parking spot. The loft had lovely details, including a record player with cool vinyl and a Moccamaster coffee maker. I could go on. Thanks, guys, I'll definitely be back.

I loved the thoughtful touches, from the coffee table books and record player to the local drinks. The architectural design really impressed me, and the suite felt unique and luxurious. Seems just right for a romantic break or a weekend with the girls.
