The room was still neat and spotless when we returned from work on day three, as the photos show. I was there for a full week for work, and housekeeping checked how often I wanted service. I asked for every other day, and they told me it was included. Each day we had fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and everything else we needed. The room was quiet, the hotel smelled lovely, parking felt safe, and the internet worked perfectly. We'd had a disappointing stay at another hotel near downtown Kingston before arriving at Motel 6 Kingston, so the warm welcome here was a relief and made us feel secure. The staff were friendly from check-in and explained that coffee was available around the clock, with free muffins each morning. Those muffins and hot coffee were a lovely bonus. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kingston. Thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of us.

The front desk team is what keeps bringing me back. The guys there give terrific service, which stands out when I've seen customer service slipping at so many places over the past few years. The rooms are consistently clean, stocked with what I need, and have comfortable beds. I also appreciate the complimentary coffee, tea, and muffins. This is my first choice whenever I need a hotel in Kingston.

We were there in mid-February and the room heat didn't work. At 11:00 pm, management came by, tried the thermostat, and confirmed it was broken. They offered a couple of extra blankets for the night, which felt pretty generous, lol. The place wasn't full, so they could have moved us across the hall, but didn't even offer. Instead, they suggested sending a man into the room after hours, which wasn't appropriate. They should have switched our room right away and apologized for the inconvenience. Pathetic. This is what you get from franchisees who don't seem to care. I would never recommend this place.

Getting to a transit stop is difficult, though not impossible. This place is really suited to people with a car, and feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. Still, I was surprised by how comfortable and clean the room was for a 2star hotel. The vending machine was well stocked, there was an ice machine, and tea and coffee were available 24/7, with muffins in the morning. There's also a tiny gym, which I thought was cute and had just enough: two machines and lots of weights. The staff were sweet and friendly, especially Andrew. I'd recommend staying here without a doubt.

A basic motel for a night on a long drive, with pretty thin walls and no resort feel. It's a little more affordable, right off the 401, so you can stop, shower, sleep, and get back on the road. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the service is excellent.
