We loved the spa, and the views were amazing. The rooms were very clean and stylish. Dinner was expensive, but we really appreciated the servers offering milk and soup options for our baby, and surprisingly they didn't even bill us for those in the end. It can feel intimidating to stay somewhere nice with other guests around and no kids, but they made us feel welcome. That alone deserves five stars!

We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked longer. The room was amazing, with a sitting area and fireplace that we hadn't expected and really appreciated. The balcony was lovely, too, with gorgeous views. The duvet may have been the most comfortable I've had at any hotel. The spa was fantastic, and I appreciated that it stayed open late. Breakfast, at $25.50 per person, felt too expensive, so we ate somewhere else. It also got a bit noisy when people walked around upstairs because of the hardwood floors. Already dreaming of coming back!

The room was so small it was uncomfortable, and we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. The decor was nice, and the river view was great. There were four hot tubs and a heated pool, but they were up even more stairs. The hotel sits on a steep hill, so it's not very walkable to get anywhere. The restaurant was nice, and most of the staff spoke both languages.

I was a bit disappointed by the cancellation policies. The spa was mediocre, which does explain the price. The view is the only good thing about this place, but there are plenty of inns with nice views. Definitely won't be coming back. In response to the owner: FYI, we all work VERY hard for our money. Other facilities have cancellation policies of 25-30%. We left our restaurant reservations, an hour away, just to get there, and couldn't even finish enjoying our food, which we also paid a lot for. Funny that you say the one-star rating comes from my frustration, when the spa changing rooms are just curtains, unisex, and don't have proper doors. And as for how warm the spa was, don't get me started. Can't STRESS enough that we WON'T be coming back. P.S. Your defensive replies to people's experiences show a lack of professionalism. You should sign your message with your entitlement.
