Au Gîte du Cerf Argenté

We had a child with us and stayed in the family suite, which was super roomy. The beds were comfy, and the pool was nice. Breakfast was so good each morning, including cheese from a local Abby. The host knew a lot about the surrounding area. We had loads of fun and felt really relaxed here. A must stay, and we look forward to being back in the area.

We planned on spending two nights at Au Cite du Cerf Argente', but felt so comfortable we added a third. Eric and Dorthy were friendly, helpful innkeepers, and our room was beautifully done and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely, with a pool and other outdoor facilities. Breakfasts were well prepared and filling. We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

It’s about a 30 minute bike ride from Magog along the Georgeville road, though I preferred taking the backroads. Cyclists should know there are no stores nearby, so bring your own bottles and snacks. The countryside B&B is wonderfully relaxing, with friendly bilingual owners, comfy themed rooms that are well appointed, and lots of pillows. The grounds are large, with a pool, jacuzzi, and big balcony. There’s also a nice breakfast and an interesting little library. Hope to return soon.

The owner made us feel welcome and at ease, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast felt as elegant as the home. We were very impressed and will definitely stay here again for convenience while touring Magog and Mt. Orford.
