The location was the only good part. There was no parking or toilet paper, and they charged me before check-in.

It looks beautiful, though there isn't anything especially distinctive about it.

The first impression wasn't great: the rooms are small, with a microwave and coffee maker, and there's no air conditioning. Still, the place feels cozy, and you can sit out on the terrace. Daily essentials are sold nearby. The metro is a very short walk away, and Rue Catharine is also close, putting you right in the gay district. They don't serve breakfast.

I spent a very pleasant week here for about 500 francs. It's a nice, private little studio apartment, and the owner, Ms. Tong, is welcoming while keeping a very low profile. I'd definitely return if I'm in Montreal again.
