I lost over 800 dollars and felt scammed by the property manager. After I followed his instructions to check out before 11am for an appropriate refund, I received only 200 dollars instead of 800+. He later said it was booking.com’s fault and that he'd look into fixing it, but nothing ever happened. I booked through booking.com, looking for three rooms for three adults and four children. This property falsely advertised three rooms, when it was really an open space with one bed and sofa beds, and one bathroom for seven people. The dishwasher was broken, the curtains hadn't been fixed, and direct sunlight hit the kids during the heatwave. I emailed the property manager to complain, and he contacted me from an unknown, unlisted number. We spent a day in that room feeling like we were camping in a jungle. PLEASE AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS.

The loft was full of sunlight, even though it sits downtown among other buildings. Those floor-to-ceiling windows cover the whole outside wall, and I loved the two-story ceiling and the walk-up to the open bedroom. The balcony bedroom felt cozy without being cramped. I stayed for a month and adored it. Just be ready for the stairs: there’s no elevator, and each floor takes about twice the usual number of steps. A good workout, though not always a welcome one.

I spent 10 nights here in September 2018, and it worked really well as a base for exploring town. Clean, simple, and good value. We had an electrical problem, but staff came right away and fixed it. I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment style room was new, clean, and convenient. Getting to it meant carrying our own luggage up the stairs, since that’s the only access and there’s no reception on site. Check-in was supposed to happen over the intercom using the internet, but the connection was down. We had to call, and as tourists without a phone, it was a struggle to reach reception.
