The Indian dishes I tried were spiced just right, and the rest of our group loved what they ordered too. There were five of us, and we liked the restaurant enough to eat there two nights in a row. The staff at the Jolly Roger were great about helping us out, even bringing wine glasses to our room and towels for the pool and sauna when we asked. We were there to cross-country ski at Georgian Nordic, which is less than 15 minutes away. A perfect weekend.

After a day of cross-country skiing at Georgian Nordic, being able to unwind in the pool and sauna was lovely. We also enjoyed the restaurant choices, the comfortable bed, and how attentive the staff were. The heating system was noisy, though, and as a light sleeper I found that disruptive. We had a really nice weekend at JR and are planning to come back.

The laundry staff helped us out, especially linda, who was so nice and made our situation less of a hassle. There were six of us snowmobiling and we stayed one night, then I had to stay on for much of the next day because of motor trouble. Maintenance loaned us tools, and the front desk gave us useful information. Everyone was friendly and willing to help. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Anni from housekeeping did a fantastic job when we asked to have the room cleaned, and the staff overall were warm and helpful. We were there for a long weekend with friends, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a pleasant getaway. The room was just okay, though, and the washroom looked dated. We even spotted a spider. The rooms and washroom could use upgrades.

The front desk staff knew their stuff and were helpful, and it was nice to have breakfast included. Our room was clean, with parking for the truck and trailer in the large lot and space to leave the snowmobiles right outside. We came for a two-night snowmobiling weekend, and the trails were easy to access from the Jolly Roger. We'll be back next winter.
