I’d booked two nights for work, but my plans changed and the owner wouldn’t refund the second night. I checked out by 7:15am after the first night. The room looked clean, but the whole hotel had a strong urine smell. 0/10, wouldn’t stay again.

The owners are so friendly, and the rates are much lower than at the other motels I checked. I’ve been coming here regularly for five years, and my room has always been very clean. The bed’s amazingly comfortable, and there’s a large TV plus a desk and chair that work well for getting paperwork done. I also like having a heater and air conditioner I can control myself. The Wi-Fi has always been strong and reliable, and when I stay more than one night, the person refreshing the room in the morning does a thorough job. Thanks to everyone who runs the motel for making my stays so pleasant.

A winter storm closed the roads while I was in Owen Sound on January 27th, so I couldn’t get home. I found this place on Booking.com, where the prices looked great and two rooms were still available. It was probably the best inexpensive hotel I’ve stayed in, and I had no issues. Just watch out in the parking lot, since you could get stuck in the snow.

The room was very good value for my one night while motorcycling around the Bruce Peninsula. I’m a woman in my 60s travelling alone, and I felt completely safe. It was a very basic hotel, but the room was clean, the mattress was firm and comfortable, the water was hot, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The worn, stuffy entrance and upstairs hallway made for a poor first impression, though.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. I had a lovely stay for two days and nights, and would recommend it to travellers looking for a budget option.
