Travelodge by Wyndham Owen Sound

The spoiled-tasting cream at breakfast made me feel nauseous. I told the concierge, who tried it and said he liked the taste, but it still seemed off to me. The room had already felt uncomfortable the night before. There were long hairs all through the bed, and I kept waking up with hair in my mouth. In the morning, the sheets clearly hadn't been changed properly, with a lot of hair left by a previous guest. That raised real cleanliness concerns for me. There was also a broken bed leg when I arrived. I took the piece to the front desk, but they said it would be repaired after checkout because I was staying just one night. Between the maintenance and hygiene issues, the room didn't feel properly prepared.

The morning spread included free coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast, which was a nice extra. Our room was great, and the housekeepers did an outstanding job. The front desk agents also arranged things for me and my family, and I could tell it couldn't have been easy. We really appreciated how much they did for us. I'd give the stay five stars.

The Wi-Fi worked well, and the room was tidy. I was in Owen Sound for work and needed a clean, dependable place to sleep, and this Travelodge did the job. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus before I headed out. A solid choice.

Zaheer ahmad at the desk was so helpful and really nice. He managed to put all our pre-booked rooms together at the last minute, even with several family members traveling, which we especially appreciated with children along. Our room was extremely clean, too. I was impressed, and I'd absolutely recommend this lodge.
