Champlain Motor Inn

The parking was spacious and easy to get into, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. My room felt fresh as soon as I came in, with no bad smell, and it was clean, comfortable, and well kept. I was very satisfied with the experience and would definitely return.

For our 10-day tour, this motel was the best value we came across. We’d booked rooms 103 and 104 through Expedia while traveling from Quebec City to Sudbury, trying to get off the winter roads before dark. It was easy to find, and a very professional host greeted us in person. Both rooms were spotless and at a comfortable temperature, with firm mattresses and crisp linens. The incense burning at reception when we arrived was a lovely, thoughtful touch. We really appreciated the stay.

I had to call and cancel at the last minute because I was stranded in a blizzard three hours away and couldn’t reach the hotel. I understand the cancellation policy, but hoped they might make a small exception. The two people at the front desk were very rude and didn’t seem willing to help at all.

The room was clean and spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The owners are kind, and restaurants are within walking distance.
