Waterways, A Boutique Hotel

I’ve stayed in three different rooms now, and each has met the same high standard. They were nicely updated, with great showers and very comfortable beds. The place is reasonably priced, and staff even helped carry my luggage upstairs. Fayaz and Jass at the front desk, along with Megan in housekeeping, have been gracious and available whenever I needed help. The cleanliness really stands out. It’s cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed in, down to the doors being washed, and management is approachable. There’s no elevator, the parking lot is small, and there are no balconies or pool or hot tub. Still, the cleanliness and helpful staff more than made up for those downsides. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The location is good, and the hotel welcomes pets. Check-in was easy, with friendly staff, and the receptionist offered to take our bags upstairs since there’s no elevator. Our newly renovated room was clean, bright, and had the basic amenities. With two queen beds, it felt a little cramped.

The view from the bed was a big part of why I extended my stay by two nights after the original six. You can watch the ferries come in or look toward the mill and Townsite. I never had a problem with noise, even during the busy holiday season, despite concerns I’d seen in other reviews. I can’t wait to come back this summer. From my early check-in call, when I asked in case my flight changed, the staff at The waterways were kind and said they’d do their best to accommodate me. At check-in, someone brought my bags upstairs. The hotel was beautifully renovated, clean, peaceful, and had updated amenities and an amazing view. This was my best hotel experience in PR. I used to stay at the town center hotel and felt as if I was bothering them by being there. The kindness, service, and peace and quiet here made a real difference.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a cozy bed, soft pillows, and an excellent rain shower with lots of hot water and strong pressure. The staff at both check-in and check-out were welcoming and gave us good suggestions for places to eat locally. We were only there for one night. The bathroom was a bit small, and our room didn’t have much of a view, but we still had a pleasant stay.
