The spa downstairs was the best part of our three-night stay. On a rainy day, the dim lighting and music made the pool, sauna, and cold plunge feel especially relaxing. The locker room and showers are high end, and the spa hours, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, are generous. There's also a fully equipped gym open around the clock. Our room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable, with a semi-firm mattress and excellent linens and duvet. The heated bathroom floor was a nice surprise. The location is hard to beat, just steps from St Jean in Old Town. We loved staying here and can't wait to return.

Being able to walk all around old Quebec was the best thing about the stay. The room was a good size, with a wardrobe and storage ottoman, but this didn't feel like the romantic getaway or four-star experience we'd expected. The pool was advertised online as a 'nordic experience' with a sauna and cold plunge, but when we tried to use it, it was so packed with screaming children that there was nowhere to sit. Even the sauna was full of underage kids. Adult-only hours would help. We were also disappointed that, although robes appeared on the list of items available to buy and we asked at the desk, we were told they were only provided in certain room types. We wanted robes so we wouldn't have to walk through the halls in swimwear. Families were clearly part of the scene, with kids running and yelling in the hallways at all hours. Staff came to clean our room at 8:00 after the first night, so we put up the DND sign. We'd hoped to spend a quiet day at the hotel, but had to go out to eat because there was no room service. Getting water also meant going all the way to the lobby. I appreciate their focus on sustainability, but water taps on each floor would help. We had trouble finding staff when returning our rental car and waited 15 minutes before parking it ourselves. The front entrance looks beautiful, but there's a large staircase and no elevator for luggage. On departure, getting all our bags downstairs was difficult. Great location, but this was a two-star experience for us, not what we'd hoped for.

Getting around was easy: the hotel is close to the main tourist attractions, with plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is pleasant and well kept, though the rooms are relatively small. It has a spa and swimming pool, and despite a few drawbacks, I had a good experience overall. I stayed for three nights. If you have large suitcases, be aware that the entrance has stairs and no elevator. Staff helped carry our luggage on arrival and departure, which eased the inconvenience. The website listed an on-site restaurant, but when I arrived I was told it was closed for renovations during the first week of January, when I stayed. That was disappointing because having a restaurant on site was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. It would be helpful if the website clearly noted closures in advance.

The location made it easy to get around on foot, right off the main street, and the staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. We stayed three nights at Hôtel Manoir Victoria and would happily come back, for longer next time. Our Distinction room had two queen beds and a spacious living area, a comfortable place to unwind after a day out in the cold. The indoor pool was genuinely warm, which I appreciated since most indoor pools feel freezing to me, and the sauna was a nice extra. Breakfast was excellent, better than some I've had at five-star hotels. Valet parking was very convenient and felt reasonably priced for Québec City. I can't imagine trying to find parking myself. It was a perfect winter stay.

The location is excellent, and the hotel is very nice, with friendly staff and pleasant rooms. My wife especially liked the heated bathroom floor. The pool looked recently renovated compared with older Google photos, and there was also a sauna and a cold plunge, though I was too nervous to try the plunge. The restaurant is connected to the hotel, and I'd recommend eating there if you can. Definitely book a table ahead. They let us check out at 1 PM without any hassle. One drawback is the staircase up to the lobby, since you have to carry your luggage. Help is available, but staff weren't just waiting there to take bags up as I'd expected. Also, the hotel faces busy streets. Friday night was loud with people from a nearby pub, and street cleaning started around 5 AM. The streets were clean the next day, but the garbage trucks dumping glass bottles woke me early.
