The hotel is nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, but the city view was affected by nearby road construction. The location was good, though the price felt high for a standard room with limited services. I arrived early in the morning after a long trip from the Middle East. The night receptionist was polite, but wouldn’t offer a discount or consider early check-in despite the late hour. There was no luggage assistance either.

If you’re in town for a tournament at the Intl trades center, the location is ideal. That’s the main plus. The hotel badly needs an upgrade, as everything feels dated. The cleaning crew were polite and accommodating, but customer service from the front counter and restaurant staff lacked common courtesy and politeness. Those teams need some courtesy training.

The manager, Gab, took my review seriously and was kind when I spoke with him. He listened, gave me a breakfast voucher, and assured me the renovations are underway and should be completed soon. Before that conversation, I found the hotel old, poorly maintained, and expensive for a Four Points. The hallways and carpets were dirty, though the room itself was okay, nothing special. I’m sure the owners and managers know about the issues and haven’t paid attention to them. It was my first and last stay. I’d rather stay at the very clean, well maintained Hampton Inn by Hilton in Regina.

The area didn’t feel ideal for families with young kids, in my opinion, though the hotel is close to the stadium if you’re in town for a game. The parking lot gets tight when it’s full, especially with a full sized truck or anything larger. They also let an oversized truck and trailer take up several spaces near the hotel. Staff offered only a partial verbal apology and then carried on with my husband’s check-in. For $170, our room with two queen beds was incredibly overpriced. It was dingy, dark, and dirty, with dirty walls and poor lighting, though the beds were clean and the pillows were nice. The tub drained slowly, so water came up to my ankles in the shower. Thin walls and loudly closing doors meant we could hear hallway noise, which disturbed my youngest child.
