Auberge du Mange Grenouille

The place itself was really beautiful, and the service was great. We ate at the restaurant, not the auberge, and everything was delicious. I'd happily go back 🩷.

The next morning, the water view was stunning, and there were little patios and tiny houses all over the property, with lovely places to look up at the stars and trees. The room had antiques and beautiful artistic touches, and the dining room, strung with fairy lights, felt just right. Dinner was wonderful, and I still can't believe such a gourmet breakfast came with the room. It's one of the best restaurant meals I've had in Canada. I want to return!

Breakfast was included and served in a room with windows facing lovely scenery. There weren't many options, but the food was high quality and enjoyable. We also really liked the restaurant, where the food was great and very authentic. The hotel itself was a very nice experience, and our room felt comfortable despite all the antique furnishings.

The people working there were amazing and dedicated, and seemed to love their jobs. We got a lovely welcome and a clear explanation of the rooms, bathrooms, entrances and exits, plus the chance to book a breakfast time for the next morning. The auberge side was just as high standard as the restaurant. The food was superb, with creative combinations of sweet and savory flavors, good ingredients, and lovely presentation. The desserts were insanely perfect. Breakfast was perfect too, and I’d recommend the place to anyone looking for fine dining where quality matters more than quantity. The one letdown was the coffee. It wasn't good after such a meal, or alongside desserts that were out of this world. The $5 cup wasn't very drinkable, and the breakfast coffee was just as bad. I'd give the whole experience 99.9 out of 100.
