The Lions Head Smoke and Brew pub is just down the road, an easy spot for dinner. We only spent one night here last fall and wished we'd booked more time. The hosts were lovely, and we had a great chat with them over a superb breakfast. The location is convenient, without being too far out of town.

Marc and Myria were lovely to chat with, and we felt very well looked after during our four nights. Each morning Marc made a different delicious breakfast dish. The suite was comfortable, with its own handy patio entrance, plus a small fridge, table, and chairs for keeping and eating snacks. The massage jets in the shower were a real treat. We'll be back!

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and I loved watching the hummingbirds. I could also walk across the road to the river, where I spotted several kinds of birds, including ospreys. My room was much more beautiful and opulent than I expected, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delightful. Marc and Marija are warm, wonderful hosts with a relaxed, easy way of chatting. I had such a special, restful stay at Windborne Bed & Breakfast.

The accommodations were phenomenal, and Marc made us an amazing breakfast. He also shared some great stories. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back whenever I'm in Castlegar.

The little touches from the friendly, accommodating hosts made this the best bed and breakfast we've ever experienced. The stay felt both elegant and whimsical. Marc put together a gourmet breakfast with a five-star presentation and funny, interesting anecdotes. Mirja's artwork is displayed throughout the B&B and adds a playful feel. We'll come back to visit them, and while you're there, ask about Margaret, their rescue turkey.
