Hôtel Trois Tilleuls

The room was comfortable, though check-in doesn’t start until after 4 pm. We managed to get in around 1:30 am, after waiting about 10 minutes for someone at reception. Check-out is at 11 am.

We stayed for one night on the way to Quebec and were glad we found this place. Our bedroom was lovely, with a balcony and a great view. The shower’s many nozzles and sprays were just the thing to wake up with. Staff were smashing, and a big hello to them. We arrived around 18:00 and ate at the bar. The snacks and wine were top notch. Breakfast in the restaurant, looking out over the river and terrace on a warm, sunny day, was sublime. Love this hotel. If you stay, you won’t be disappointed.

I keep coming back because the setting is such a pleasure. The style may not suit everyone, but once you’re there, the surroundings work their magic, and I never seem to tire of the view. The food is reliably good, though service varies from one staff member to another. The view, the atmosphere, and the food are what bring me here, and they deliver.

The view is magnificent, and the suites are roomy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast, included and served in the dining room, was fresh and plentiful. The staff seemed annoyed and weren’t very flexible about food intolerances. Room service was disappointing too, and at checkout they charged us for food that was never delivered. The “spa” is a small pool, two warm dry saunas, and two treadmills.
