Wetherly Inn

We just spent four wonderful days here with my mother, staying in one of the cottages, and we all had a lovely time. It's one of the prettiest places to stay on salt Spring Island, peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful gardens and exquisite food. Everything was immaculate. We had the pool to ourselves each day and enjoyed dips while listening to the waterfall after exploring the island. We'll certainly be back.

We came for our honeymoon and were blown away. Stephanie and her parents were incredibly accommodating hosts, and I'd recommend this place without hesitation. Our room, #1, was clean and gorgeous, with a lovely balcony overlooking the grounds. The gardens were mesmerizing, and we spent lots of time wandering among the flowers and different sitting spots. There was also a clean pool, a hot tub, and several little ponds. They can bring morning coffee or tea to your room. Later, the continental breakfast had more coffee and tea, along with fresh-made sweet and savory foods, homemade jams and jellies, breads, hard-boiled eggs, and more, all served with wonderful garden views. For an extra charge, you can order a heartier breakfast like bacon, eggs, and potatoes, which was incredible too. Photos don't quite capture the place. It's well worth experiencing for yourself.

The owners and staff strike a great balance between being available and giving you plenty of privacy. The gardens are beautiful, the amenities are fun, and breakfast is delicious. It's a real oasis and one of our favorite places to visit. Looking forward to another stay.

On our second visit, the peaceful grounds were just what we needed. Everything is well groomed, with lots of quiet spots to take in the scenery. Coffee delivered to the room is a treat, and the complimentary breakfast was better than expected. We also tried the hot breakfast for purchase on the second day and really enjoyed it. Thanks to the whole family-run team for making our stay so pleasant.
