Ramada by Wyndham Saskatoon

Our family loved Ramada and sang its praises. The meals were hot and delicious, the hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool kept the kids entertained, and we’ll definitely return.

The conference services were excellent and affordable for our nonprofit’s three-day event. Recent interior upgrades have made the property comfortable and professional. It’s ten minutes from the airport and four minutes from downtown, handy for travelers who want to avoid city extras while staying close to everything. Stick with the lounge food, they do it right. And if you want coffee, theirs is one of the best blends I’ve had in years.

I booked a room because of pipe trouble at home, and prepaid through a third party. At check-in, the two desk attendants said local residents weren’t allowed to stay. I explained the booking was nonrefundable, but they said I couldn’t stay and should ask the third party for a refund. I’d stayed there before, but the woman working at 6:15 p.m. on January 24th said there was no record of me. I told them I had nowhere else to go. The man at the desk said he might let me stay if I paid double. I walked away and called my cousin, who works at the Ramada. As soon as they learned I knew someone at the hotel, their story changed and suddenly I was allowed to stay. They said I should have provided a reference from the start. The people at the desks are crooked and scam guests. Apparently, they do this often.

When we needed another bed, Melissa Cote moved us to a different room and checked that we were happy with our stay. She went above and beyond. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was nice with good food.
