We had a memorable weekend. Even though we asked at the last minute, Christophe was very accommodating. The house felt authentic and charming, and breakfast was fresh and homemade. We had a really interesting conversation, and his three cats were very affectionate.

The place is enchanting and steeped in history, inside and out. The host is professional and entertaining, and he has friends nearby who can help with things like a flat tire, finding food, or places to see. When I arrived, he told me, "Welcome to our home!" Then he added, "But don't forget, you're in my home. Enjoy your stay!" A place well worth visiting.

It's a nice place, but the rooms beside the bathroom aren't peaceful, so it's not ideal if you're a light sleeper. The cats can also be intrusive and come into the room when a door or window is open, so watch out if you have allergies. Bring your own washcloth, tissues, body wash, and shampoo, since none are supplied. There's no coffee maker or refrigerator either. You have to ask the owner, and he's no longer available after 9:00 PM.
