The room was roomy and comfortable, and the smart TV had plenty of options. I had trouble getting my laptop on the Wi-Fi, but after I called the desk and tried again, it connected. They even called five minutes later to check that it was working. The lobby is attractive, with places to sit and a small computer workstation, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is free, and City Center Mall and restaurants are right across the street. They suggested taking a taxi in the evening, and the taxis were quick and friendly. I also appreciated the little eco-friendly touches, like makeup remover, biodegradable face cloths, and a microfiber cloth by the coffee station for spills. Those details matter, and Best Western really goes out of its way with customer service.

Breakfast had made-to-order omelettes, with perogies and sausage on the side, and the coffee machine offered lots of choices. The French Vanilla Latte was especially good. At check-in we also got two cold bottles of water, and they put out free soup and nachos from 5-7pm. Great hotel.

As a Diamond member, I think this is an awesome place to stay. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable. What puts me off is the $500 damage deposit charged to a credit card, since it takes 3-5 business days to get the money back. I often need it for shopping or to pay freight costs when I fly home, so lately I've mostly stopped staying here. They should change the policy so non-members pay the damage deposit.

The blackout curtain was missing, which meant the main curtains wouldn't close and I couldn't make the room dark. The front desk came up to check and confirmed they couldn't be closed. They eventually found the missing blackout curtain, and the next few nights were fine. The hotel itself is great, and it all worked out really well in the end.

My best stay in Thompson so far. The room was clean and modern. There was a bit of noise on my last visit, but it didn't disrupt me.
