DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown

Juned was a wonderful, sweet server who made sure we were comfortable and looked after. As students, we’re often overlooked, but his kindness and service made the stay even better. The breakfast had so many options and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I was impressed by how spotless and comfortable the rooms were, and how beautifully designed they felt. I’m normally a clean freak. Service was amazing from start to finish, and the location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and activities nearby. I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton with friends this past weekend and had such a great experience I wanted to write about it. I’m a student and don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place stood out. The stay exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

The Hemisphere restaurant served outstanding food, and the location was great. The rooms were nice, though small. I tripped a couple of times because the carpet on floor 17 was lifted, so you had to watch where you were going. The staff were phenomenal and attentive throughout, not just at the front desk. We’ll definitely return!

The pool and sauna were kept in great shape, and the location made it easy to get around downtown. We were also able to check in early, and they gave us two warm, fresh cookies. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious too. I was impressed from the start. Five out of five, in my opinion.

The only thing that got in the way of a great stay was the noise from some kind of construction on the floor above us. It started at 9am and continued until checkout, just when we wanted to sleep in. I wish we'd been told about it before choosing a room. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our Wednesday night here. The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we got two delicious warm cookies at check-in. The gym had plenty of equipment and a water dispenser, and we liked the pool's size and temperature. My partner also appreciated the sauna. I only wish there had been lotion in the pool and gym changing rooms and showers, like there was in the room. Staff were very accommodating with requests, and I appreciated their hospitality.
