The room was gorgeous, with deep, dark colors and rich accents, and even etched glasses marked with the room number. The bed was so comfy, and the bathrooms were spacious even in the smaller rooms. The minibars were fully stocked with some great options. Service was impeccable at valet, the front desk, and breakfast. Barry at the bar makes fantastic cocktails, and we had a late dinner there too. Their Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had. It’s close to the CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, and other places. With the amenities, paying a little more felt worth it compared with a Hilton or Marriott. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, and honestly, it’s kind of sexy.

I’d rated this hotel five stars before, but this experience changed how I see its cleanliness standards. Housekeeping left a cleaning rag right on top of my makeup bag and hadn’t fully serviced the room. I don’t know where the rag had been used before it was put on my belongings, and I found that unhygienic and upsetting. It also made me wonder if this had happened during earlier cleanings and the rags were simply removed before housekeeping finished. I spoke with the manager. He apologized, but his manner felt much too casual for something this serious. He asked what he could do to make my stay more comfortable, but comfort wasn’t the point. It was about hygiene, professionalism, and trusting the hotel to respect my things and clean properly. Since COVID, sanitation should be a top priority, especially at a higher-end property.

Tatiana at the concierge desk deserves a special mention. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine care went above and beyond what I expected, and she made the stay unforgettable. The hotel is modern and luxurious, with an unbeatable location. Every person I encountered, from the front door team and front desk to concierge and housekeeping, was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and cared for. I’d highly recommend it for a first class experience and can’t wait to come back.

The room was modern, clean, and spacious, with handy storage nooks and bed-side lighting controls. You could detach the sofa to use as a leg rest, and the electric blinds gave extra privacy from the office tower across the glass. The bed was firm, though the pillows were a bit soft. The rain shower ran too hot and wouldn’t adjust to a comfortable warm temperature, so I used the handheld shower instead. Our pet got a bed, bowls, and a treat bag. The sheets had holes and could use replacing, and the Nespresso cup’s handle was too short and hot to hold. Valet was prompt and courteous, though the entrance was crowded with ride share drop-offs and double-parked cars, so unloading luggage at the curb was tricky. The hotel is conveniently beside the two sporting stadiums. Longo's and other retail options are on the premises, though the playground behind the hotel can get loud in the morning with kids playing. The lobby has dark decor. The front desk agent was friendly, but with only one person on shift, check-in and checkout were a bit slow. I waited several minutes before another staff member came from behind the wall to answer the phone. In the end, the service, location, and comfortable room exceeded my expectations. I’d stay again when going to a game.
