I enjoyed my time there and have good memories, but even back in 2009 the building felt outdated and like a prison. I think the architect was the same person who designed Kingston pen, but don’t quote me on that. I can only imagine how dated it feels now.

The food selection is excellent and the service is great. You can add a One Card to your Apple Watch and get in without pulling out the physical card. As of Sep 2025, though, cell service and Wi-Fi were extremely poor.

Being only a five-minute roll out of bed before lecture is possible, which is handy given how close it is to class. Still, I don’t recommend living here. The building is outdated and the RA wasn’t helpful.

My son is staying in a single room at Pitman hall this school year. It’s got a twin bed with drawers underneath, a study table and chair with a desk lamp, a chest of drawers, an open hanging rod below the shelves, square shelves above the bed, and A/C. It’s big enough for one person. The look is classic rather than new, and I actually like it. Pretty good, in my opinion.

It’s a very social building, with students who are generally keen to make friends and something happening all the time. There are lots of room styles to choose from, including more affordable options. Out front, there’s a nice grass and sitting area, and the location is super convenient. I’ve lived and worked here for three years. It gets a bad rap for being old and grungy, which is fair, but it also gives the place a fun dorm feel. Best dorm, in my opinion.
