Chelsea Hotel, Toronto

We could walk to the Jays game, Eaton Center, and ROM, even with the kids, and getting to the hotel was easy. Parking is a bit tight for trucks, but our F150 fit without a problem. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and it was nice to catch a glimpse of the CN Tower from the balcony. Check-in and checkout were quick and efficient. We only stayed overnight, so didn't get to see much of the rest of the hotel. I'd bring the family back next time we're in town.

My kids had a blast during our one-night Family Day Weekend stay. The new amenities were all great, from the pool and playplace to the lounge. We also signed up for the pizza-making class and Tea Time Princess Breakfast, and both were a lot of fun. Would recommend!

For our son's heart surgery, the staff made our stay a very pleasant one. Anthony, Emrecan, Mohammed, Givan, and everyone else were extraordinarily attentive to what guests needed. The Chelsea was arguably the best hotel we've stayed at, and we've stayed at a lot. Even calling it a place to stay feels like an understatement. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

The best part was how much there is nearby: shops, restaurants, lounges, clubs, transit, and Elmwood spa were all an easy walk away. Our room was clean and comfortable, with robes, a mini fridge, an espresso machine, and two bottles of water. We liked the room, though the view looked out onto construction. We came to celebrate my recent engagement and about ten years of friendship. Check-in around 3 pm looked like it might take a while, but the line moved steadily and we got directions to our room. I had mentioned the occasion when booking and asked if they could make it a little extra special, but nothing came of that. Staff were polite and helpful with questions, and reception extended our stay when we asked. There’s a fitness center, plus family and adults-only pools. The family pool was being renovated during our visit, so everyone used the adults-only one. We enjoyed the pool area, with its Toronto views, change rooms, and hot tub, but had booked partly because we expected an adults-only pool.
