Holiday Inn Express-Langley By IHG

That personalized note with my name on it meant a lot. I've seen that kind of gesture at IHG hotels for Gold, Platinum, or Diamond members, but not usually for Club and Silver members. It felt thoughtful and showed how much they value guests. The pool was great, and I especially enjoyed the sauna, which you don't often find in many hotels. We were there on our BC trip, and from the start I felt welcome. The woman who checked us in, I think her name was Manpreet, was so polite and kind. She made the check-in easy and special. Great service and a lovely stay, thank you 😊

The king suite was clean and updated, and the hotel was really easy to find. I was in town for a wedding last week, and the women at the front were friendly and keen to help. Check-in went smoothly, and breakfast was delicious. It was a fantastic stay. I'll be back for my birthday.

What a treat for a one-night stay. The front desk was very polite, and the rooms were clean with comfy beds. The Express breakfast was spotless and one of the best I've had, with great pancakes, fresh hot food, and lots of choices. Highly recommend!

Their reply to my Google review came quickly. If they'd responded to my inquiry that promptly, the experience might not have left such a bad impression of The Holiday Inn Express brand. In the end, Sandman Hotel next door responded quickly and was open to accommodating our delegates in Langley. We were grateful for their help. Holiday Inn Express' loss was Sandman's gain: they got 125 room nights. If you're arranging a team or corporate event, be aware that the front desk staff are pleasant and helpful, but management seemed unable to make a decision. It took four attempts to book a block of rooms for our conference in the area. The Sales Rep never returned my calls, and despite repeated tries to get a quote, they couldn't get organized. The G.M. and Sales Manager seemed to lack interest in selling rooms. I've never seen anything like it. Very odd, and the customer service was terrible.
