Le Cénacle

We stayed for three nights in a simple, no-frills room that was comfortable enough. The en suite bathroom was tiny, really only big enough for one person at a time, so I wouldn't recommend those rooms for larger people. The one thing I'd have wanted added to the room is a fridge, which is why I gave it four stars.

The grounds are well maintained, the place is quiet, and the bus is pretty close. The rooms are pretty ok, but check carefully, since some don't have a private bathroom. The hotel itself is made up of container units, and its basic hallways feel like an office. The private bathroom in both single and double rooms is ridiculously small. You can't close the bathroom door while using the toilet. Breakfast isn't fitting for a luxury hotel. I'd heard Geneva hotels were expensive, but at over 180 euros, this felt more like an 80 euro room elsewhere, including in Germany, France, Spain and Portugal. Breakfast was on that same level.

The hotel sits in the city but also within a beautiful forest, and the room and location were amazing. What stood out most, though, was how welcoming the staff were. I want to thank Valentina and Carl personally for their hospitality ♥️

Neat rooms and friendly staff, with great connections into central Geneva. If that's the kind of setting you're after, this is the place to go.
