Hôtel Longemalle

I paid 100 KD up front for extra services, and now the money is just gone. Nobody explained why or even apologized. The staff were lazy and no help at all, and one person actually rolled their eyes at me. Breakfast was pathetic, and the area around the hotel felt chaotic, with people begging. This ruined what should have been a relaxing stay.

The room was clean and everything in it was in good working order. The hotel is conveniently placed between the old city and the lake. Big thanks to Ismail, the wonderful helper at the desk when we arrived. He was friendly, made us feel comfortable, helped us get settled, and gave us all the information we needed to get around the city. I’d recommend staying here.

I felt unsafe and unsupported after my Chanel purse was stolen from my room at Hotel Longemalle in Geneva while I was out. I reported it to reception straight away and contacted the police, but after repeated follow-ups, nobody identified who took it. I later found out there are no security cameras on the guest floors. Several hotel employees had entered my room, yet the investigation came up with no answers or accountability. I’d expected a safe, luxurious stay because of the hotel’s reputation, and instead I was heartbroken and completely disillusioned. Future guests should take every precaution with their belongings, or consider another hotel where safety and transparency are treated as priorities.

The room was clean and good, and the hotel itself is nice. Great location, too. Breakfast options were very limited, though. I hope they add more in the future.
