Eurotel Montreux

Loved the sweets and popcorn machine! :D After a busy day exploring, it was nice to unwind in the hotel hot tub and sauna. Our room was large and spacious, with a lovely lake view through the windows and from the balcony. Breakfast had a great selection, and sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lake made it even nicer. It’s close to the town centre, and we could walk to the main train station. There’s a local bus stop nearby too. Had a wonderful stay recently, and I’d definitely come back.

Our family loved it. There was music, drinks, and food on the patio, followed by a hot tub with a view of Lake Geneva. The buffet breakfast was amazing, and I was glad we paid to add it to the room. It was our first hotel on a family trip, and we had a fantastic stay. The staff were super nice and happy to chat in English with those of us who weren’t fluent in French. Rafael and the other guy at the boat rental were a lot of fun. We used paddle boards for free and had a blast.

The location is great, right on the promenade and an easy walk from the train station. The view from our panoramic room was spectacular, just as advertised, with a full 180-degree look over the lake. The bathroom is tiny, but you can make it work. The view from the WC helps you forget the cramped space! It’s a good hotel that could be great if they paid attention to the details. We waited 20 minutes to check in, which seems hard to justify with online preregistration. They offer free coffee, popcorn, and candy in the lobby, but the supplies were empty so often that it got frustrating. They need to tidy up these little things.

The rooms are lovely, and there’s a lot included for free: bikes for the waterfront, SUPs, a jacuzzi, coffee machines, and snacks in the room and lobby. Great location and really friendly, helpful staff. I’d stay again.
