The location in Downtown Zürich is great, but that was about the only good part. I booked two separate nights in different apartments, one basic and one superior, and both were a letdown. Neither was in good condition or clean, and there wasn't enough bedding. The heating barely worked. In the so-called superior apartment, something dead seemed to be inside the bedroom wall. The smell was so bad I slept on the living-room sofa.

It was a bit noisy, and the place looked nothing like the booking photos. Still, it was relatively clean. I'd considered cancelling after reading the reviews, but the stay wasn't as bad as I feared, though it wasn't great either.

We made a reservation by mistake, realized it the same day, and cancelled immediately. We contacted several people responsible for refunds, but they kept stalling us for 2-3 weeks. Their attitude was awful and seemed focused only on getting money. There was no real customer service relationship at all. It felt like their first thought was how to take our money. They were far from humane. Never stay at this hotel.

It was very noisy, and there was a strong smell of Chinese food coming up from the restaurant downstairs. The pictures on the website and booking.com don't look anything like the place in reality. Avoid it.

A church across the road rings its bells every 15 minutes, and the room itself was awful, nothing like the advertised photos. It was falling apart, and the bed had hairs on it when I arrived. The place was really dirty. I emailed the owners, but they ignored my messages. Don't stay here.
