easyHotel Zurich City Main Station

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though it could have used another pillow since there was only one per person. Check-in was straightforward, and the luggage lockers were really useful. The location was perfect, with an easy short walk to both the train and bus stations. I'd definitely recommend it.

I was there for just one night. The room was small but functional, and the bathroom was fine, though the washbasin design felt awkward, maybe just in my room. It's near Zurich HB and walkable, but that distance gets a bit troublesome with more luggage. The elevator wasn't working when we arrived or when we checked out. Since all the rooms are above ground level, check with the property manager if you have heavy bags. They should have told us in advance or arranged some help. Carrying luggage up the stairs to the second floor was a real hassle.

The wooden stairs were really noisy. We could hear people hauling luggage up and down late at night and early in the morning, which made it hard to sleep. Apart from that, it was a clean, well kept, simple hostel with what you need and a comfortable enough bed. Self check-in and checkout were easy, and the free luggage lockers were handy. The location is the best part: a seven minute walk from Zurich HB, a tram stop about a minute away, and lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby.

The location was convenient, and it was nice to have free lockers. Our room had almost everything we needed. But there was no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom, and the bathroom didn't offer much privacy. Worse, our keys stopped working before checkout time, and apparently the same happened to other guests. Some people were left stranded, then others propped the downstairs door open.
